![]() TL DR: I get into the weeds of methodology a little bit below. That lineup gets 11.4% of the minutes every documented four-runner lineup in the top ten on KenPom adds up to under a quarter of Xavier’s minutes. Of the top ten five-man lineups in the last five games according to KenPom, only one featuring four runners - McKnight, Olivari, Claude, Swain, and Ousmane - has seen more than 5% of the available minutes. ![]() Xavier’s current lineup plans consist of three runners and two lumberers on the floor at any given time. Claude, Olivari, McKnight, Green, Swain, and Nzeh (whose foul problems and limited minutes mean I don’t really factor him into the below calculations) can run. Runners and lumberers, if you will.įor those of you who haven’t been watching Xavier or have reverse T-rex vision where you can only see things that aren’t in motion, I’ll quickly break down Xavier’s roster along these lines: Ousmane, Ciani, Nemeiksa, and Djokovic all lumber, though Djokovic less than the first three. One thing that doesn’t get too much attention (in circles I run in, at any rate) is the distinction between guys who can play in transition and guys who don’t. Basketball is generally broken into posts, wings, and guards, delineations that are further broken down into so many further, more specific subsets that we aren’t going to go into them here. What they’re doing in the last 20 seconds of the shot clock isn’t working that well, but their work in transition is unimpeachable. The Muskies get almost a third of their initial shot attempts in transition according to, and they’re posting a delightful 60.9% EFG% in those shots, including 42.5% from beyond the arc. In transition, however, they turn into the best shooting team in the nation. Of Big East teams, that ranks 10th out of 11. ![]() The offense is currently 77th in the country in adjusted efficiency according to KenPom, dragged down by an atrocious 49.2% EFG%, which is 216th in the country. One of them is that they’re not very good at scoring in the half court. ![]() There are some things we know about Xavier. ![]()

![]() ![]() "I’ll bring this up, but I’m not very optimistic that they’re going to consider changing it. I got a reply while asking around new eden, the convo went like this: Or could we just please make it so we land at zero regardless? I had a couple ideas pop into my head as I was trying to stay awake during my space journey though:Ĭould autopilot warp to zero each jump but, depending on how many jumps it was, upon arrival or autopilot cancelation the ship has a cooldown timer and cannot dock till it’s over? The player can still warp manually to safe spots if needed, and it still gives the gankers chances to kill and have their fun n’ games at certain hot spot locations.Ĭould the distance you land when using autolpilot be determined by the sec status of the system?Ĭould there be a modual that has to be fitted to the ship that makes the autopilot land at zero? I can’t honestly even recommend Eve (My most loved game) to anyone due to this as the travelling is something most pilots are doing 80% of time and it’s just not entertaining at all and you have to be glued to the screen. ![]() I understand that there are players out there that hunt to gank players that autopilot because it’s a good opportunity for kills but, I feel it makes going places to do things in Eve, or to even just to explore a massive chore and I feel it is among the top 5 least exciting things to do in all games right now. It has taken me over 6 hours without using autopilot and I vow to never ever do an R&D run again! My main issue is that autopilot! If it dropped at zero I could’ve been concentrating on say playing Faction Warfare or doing project discovery or many of the other things to do in Eve and out, but I had to click every single jump. ![]() I am writing this now as I am still not finished doing an R&D Datacore run again with 2 main characters which has required me to jump both characters over 300 jumps each including the agent missions required at each stop (I only do this once every 3 years as it is a massive chore for very little passive income). I tried echoes out when it released and noticed that the autopilot would warp to zero, which was very very nice as you had the freedom to do other things inside Eve and out (for example Market trading or playing on another eve client) without having to constantly hit the warp and jump button. I have been playing Eve on and off for around 12 years now (mainly on) and the autopilot has always bugged me. ![]() ![]() Best Aim Sensitivity SettingsĪiming sensitivity is a tricky area to standardize as many players prefer different sensitivities that align with their playstyles. We strongly suggest that you keep Minimap Vision Cones on as well as Bullet Tracers on, increasing your overall awareness within a game. It’s mostly based on player preference, however, Riot Games has done a great job of creating a baseline. When it comes to the minimap, most people recommend that you use the default settings, changing only the size or zoom of the map if needed. This image taken from Reddit helps to show the difference between the default red and Deuteranopia yellow. If you’re wondering why players do this, the bright yellow highlight is often quicker to react to than the mute red highlight that tends to blend in with some maps. Starting off with Enemy Highlight Color (found under the General > Accessibility section of settings), many players change the default red to the Deuteranopia yellow. When it comes to the best settings within Valorant, a lot of them are often overlooked but can have game-changing abilities. Shroud is typically a trailblazer for many people who first enter the game, giving a lot of new players some excellent insight. Crosshair Color: Green (player’s choice)Īlthough subject to change, this is the most recent iteration of Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek’s crosshair settings within Valorant.Should you need that personal connection, Jaryd “summit1g” Lazar is a fan of the dot and uses a variant of it. Although a bit basic, the dot ensures that you’ll see your target with maximum clarity and minimal flair. Both inner and outer lines are removed giving the player a single cluster of pixels to hit their mark. The Dot is the simplest of the crosshairs in this guide featuring only the dot. Crosshair Color: Cyan (player’s choice).Professional players who use a similar crosshair include T1’s Braxton “brax” Pierce and Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham. The sight offers a small, non-intrusive target that allows players to see more of their target and heighten their focus. The “tight sight” as I like to call it, is a variant on many professional player’s preferred crosshair settings within Valorant. It’s very similar to the default Counter-Strike: Global Offensive crosshair, giving players that nostalgic feeling from when they first started playing CS:GO. Upon launching Valorant, this will be the default crosshair you are greeted with. It’s optional whether or not to include fading your crosshair while spraying, letting you know that your shots will be fired in a random pattern. A final recommendation is to keep your crosshairs static, not toggling firing or movement errors. Also, choose a color that is clearly visible to you that won’t blend in with a map or character model. Movement error will remind you that your shots won’t be very accurate while on the go (save pistols and a stroke of luck). Firing error lets you know when your spray patterns become random or when your accuracy isn’t perfect. Some rules of thumb will be to toggle errors on/off based on your playstyle. Using the standard “cross” shape will usually yield better results in targeting than a standard dot among average players. One of the most interesting facts is that the human brain can pin-point targets along standard x and y axes. There are also some interesting psychological facts that go into creating an ideal crosshair. Crosshairs are the vehicle that’ll deliver your mouse directly to the headshots you’re looking for. Here, you’ll be provided with a bunch of options you can use to customize your crosshair when scoped. When it comes to creating a crosshair, half of the battle is finding something that’s visually appealing to look at. Click on “crosshair” from the menu and click on the last “sniper scope” option. How to change Marshall and Operator crosshairs While it’s undoubtedly a convenient setting, make sure you pick the right colors that pops across all the textures on a map. By pairing it with unique crosshair shapes in Valorant, you can actually surprise your teammates when they inspect your play. Your crosshair should turn to the custom color you’ve selected. Once you have locked these down, start queue. If an invalid code is entered, the crosshair will revert to the previous color.Put input the RGB value of the desired color. On the drop-down menu for color, choose custom.Click on the crosshair and then go to primary. ![]() Here’s how to add custom crosshair color to Valorant: ![]() This allows players to pick one catch-all color, or they can freely change to different colors based on the map they’re playing. ![]() I haven’t yet told my kids who the winners are. So I added an optional third animated polar graph category. However, some students were animating the sliders and coming up with fun animations (like this or this… watch both for a while). And students needed to create the coolest polar art using multiple equations. Students needed to create the coolest polar graph with one equation. Then I showed kids a google doc which had all the info for the contest - and the link to the google form to submit their entries. Some who were getting boring graphs saw the cool graphs their classmates were getting and were inspired to mix things up since they knew they could make neat things. They gasped and turned their screens to show their friends. They got excited by what they were seeing. They dug into old functions they had learned about. Then I gave everyone 7 minutes to just come up with something pretty. Then I might have altered the function a bit more, like and we saw what happened. So for example, if they said, I might have added the slider. I then pulled up desmos and asked my kids to shout out some polar function. So after our unit on polar graphing, I took 10 minutes at the start of class to introduce this idea of a Polar. The convolutional neural network CNN gained fame in image recognition, and this was one of the most important steps toward the success of deep learning. ![]() In the 2000s, powerful computers and larger datasets allowed researchers to work on these techniques at a faster rate, and it was the point where people were attracted toward deep learning. Still, this was considered an important technique. ![]() People were working with a single hidden layer, and the results were not satisfactory. After that, many researchers were attracted to this technique because of the automation in the learning.Īt that time, dealing with deep learning techniques was still challenging because of the limited research and the complex work with the computational algorithms. In 1986, the backpropagation method was developed on the given data, and this opened new doors for the researchers to work more on deep learning. After that, the work on this technique was stopped because of the technical limitations. It gave the confidence to work on deep learning because it was helpful in pattern recognition. The work on deep learning started in the 1950s when artificial neurons were trained. The neurons in the neural network are arranged according to different weights and biases, and this is the basic structure through which the network learns from the calculations. As a result, these networks work on the classification of the data to predict the results by comparing and studying its behavior in different ways. The complexity and performance of the deep learning network depend on the number of hidden layers in it. In interconnected networks, the output layer is connected to the input layer of the next deep learning network. ![]() Once the calculations are performed on the data, the result is sent to the output layer. The input layer is the entry point of the data and in the hidden layers, the learning process is carried out. Just like the human brain learns from the network of neurons, deep learning trains, learns, and understands through the vast interconnected network. What is Deep Learning?ĭeep learning is a complex network of artificial neural networks. So let’s start with the introduction of deep learning. We will discuss different departments that use deep learning to improve the user experience and create new techniques with the help of user behavior analysis. After that, we will discuss some important fields where the technical departments are getting more efficient results by integrating the techniques of deep learning into their work. We will discuss the introduction and history of deep learning and how it has evolved with time. Today, we will learn the basic concepts of deep learning and how the technical world is rapidly changing because of the innovations in deep learning. It is the most trending topic in the technical world therefore, we will discuss it from scratch.
